Talk of the CampusPostgraduate students share their research We heard about a wide range of research conducted by our postgraduate students at a forum recently. Postgraduate Applied Management research students present their research results to staff, students, and, in this case, employers in Week 6 of every study block. Learners visit housing development site Construction Learners had the exciting opportunity to visit a timber frame housing development site at Mangere recently. The visit gave everyone practical experience in understanding the timber components of the building and the underlying technical concepts. The development is by Oceana Homes which is well known for its stylish lifestyle housing design. The site team was very friendly, and the visit was interactive. Our learners were excited to see a practical example of what they had learned about in the classroom. Employability CornerRecruitment experts on campus We had a great time hosting a highly engaging panel discussion on Recruitment Insights at the end of May. Our panel experts, Ritika Singh, Kennedy Sua, and Sidra Siddiqui provided students with invaluable knowledge and practical advice on internships, graduate roles, entry-level job opportunities, and current job market trends. Employability Corner now on Level 1 We understand that accessing the Employability Team has been challenging for learners without appointments. To make it easier for all learners, we're excited to announce the opening of our permanent Employability Corner on Level 1, Room 101.
