QLDC Winter Road Report - 23 August 2023

It's another beautifully clear and crisp start to the day.  

I could almost copy and paste yesterday's report... but I wouldn't do that to you!  So here goes: grit trucks are out and about patrolling a number of areas around the district, including the Crown Range, Cardrona Valley, Arrowtown, Whakatipu Basin, Fernhill and Glenorchy Road.   

The road surfaces are dry and you can expect ice/grit over the Crown Range, on Malaghans Road and around the hilly suburbs of Queenstown.  

CMA (stuff used to help stop ice forming) has been sprayed onto the highways around the district.   

Whatever you're up to today, hope you all enjoy another stunning day in paradise.
