COVID-19 Lessons Learnt and Good Practices Briefs

The GHC has commissioned studies to examine the humanitarian response to the COVID-19 pandemic in humanitarian settings, specifically looking at how coordination was adapted, how multisectoral collaboration evolved and how crisis-affected populations benefited from COVID-19 vaccination. These studies exposed initial gaps and limitations. More importantly, the studies reveal a wealth of good practices of how clusters have adapted, risen to the challenges and successfully delivered priority response interventions.

With this series of briefs, the GHC presents key lessons and good practice examples from the pandemic response in humanitarian settings. The GHC will use the evidence and lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic to strengthen health cluster preparedness efforts with tools currently under development.
