Weekly update 24 November 2025

Kia ora koutou,

Welcome to our weekly update report. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.

New email for Target Evaluation team leaders

We have a new email address for contacting the Target Evaluation team leaders instead of emailing them individually. This should ensure your emails are answered in a timely manner if some of the team leaders are on leave or unavailable. This email will be monitored during business hours only.

This email should be used for:

  • 72-hour requests.
  • Requests for stickers under the original documents scheme.
  • Other questions/requests that require special approval or attention of a team leader that cannot be answered by a Target Evaluator.
  • Complaints directly related to Target Evaluation BACCs.

The new email address is TLTargetEvaluation@mpi.govt.nz

Requests for urgency on applications should continue to be directed to manifest@mpi.govt.nz

General requests, including those for import requirements, should be directed to TECargo@mpi.govt.nz
