It may mean that you are unable to spend the festive season with your family or friends, or that closely held traditions cannot be upheld. My hope for each of you this season, first and foremost, is to stay safe and take care of yourselves. We are in this together, and I want to express my appreciation for the hard work that each of you have been doing throughout this year amidst the unprecedented circumstances we have been faced with. Read more ![]() Trainee Research Access Committee (TRAC)Did you know that all educational research studies that recruit learner participants in the FoMD must be pre-approved? The Trainee Research Access Committee (TRAC) is a sub-committee of the Faculty Learning Committee (FLC), that reviews and tracks all health education research studies that require recruitment of learners in order to minimize conflict between projects and monitor burden on students in the various undergraduate, graduate and Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) programs in FoMD. The goal of TRAC is to facilitate suitable and meaningful learner-informed research projects to go forward with the appropriate processes in place. All educational research studies recruiting learner participants in the FoMD must be approved by TRAC prior to student recruitment. Paulette is the first dental hygiene graduate student to receive the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES) Indigenous award.
