Junior School NoticesTERM 3 WEEK 9
Dear valued member of the PLC community,
It has been an action-packed term of learning and activities. As I scan the Term 3 calendar, I note that over this nine-week period, the students and staff have engaged in a range of activities – from training and playing various sports, Cross Country, the Festival of Science, Junior School Arts Day, welcoming family and friends, ensembles and choirs, Outdoor Education, Speakers' Challenge, Year 6 Exhibition, Book Week, incursions, and excursions! It is little wonder that our community is looking forward to a well-deserved break. Please have a restful and enjoyable fortnight, we all look forward to seeing you back in Term 4.
Grandparents and Special Friends DayWhat a wonderful celebration of family, friends, and learning we enjoyed on Tuesday, with the first half of the day dedicated to intergenerational engagement and celebration with our annual Grandparents and Special Friends Day.
Arts DayTuesday continued to prove why it is the highlight of the Junior School Calendar with our Junior School Arts Day. A huge thank you to every member of our community who made it such a successful and joyous day.
International MarketOn Monday, our Years 3 and 4 students held their annual International Market. This is the culmination of their hard work in Chinese and French where they designed and marketed a product and then had the opportunity to sell it at a market using only their French and Chinese language vocabulary.
Meredith Beer
Acting Head of Junior School
