Strathfield eNews No images? Click here 16 June 2022Cr Matthew Blackmore, Mayor of Strathfield I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and got to spend some quality time with their families. This week I have a brief update on some of our projects which are currently being constructed. The Hudson Park Driving Range upgrade is nearing completion and expected to re-open by the end of July. The Hudson Park Cafe & Strathfield Park Cafe are well underway and will both be advertised for Expressions of Interest (EOI) soon. These improved facilities are not only a good revenue source for council they are good for the physical and mental health of our residents, and provide job opportunities to our community. Also, at the recent Council meeting my Mayoral Minute in relation to a Local School Traffic Forum was passed, I will invite all local schools to be involved and the forum will look at traffic issues around local schools and the possibility of staggered pick up and drop off times to ease congestion for our residents. If you need help with any local issues please contact me 0428 952 095 or cr.mblackmore@strathfield.nsw.gov.au Hope to see you at the Cooks River Fun Run this Sunday.
