In Focus - NDIS Check Renewals

NDIS Check renewals are coming from 1 November 2025, and workers may be eligible to renew.

More information will be provided about the renewals process in our upcoming newsletters. Stay tuned!

If you or any of your workers have any questions about the renewal process, please complete the below form – your identity will be kept anonymous.

Your questions will be used to inform communication to the sector, and where we can, we will provide answers in our upcoming newsletters.

Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure website update

The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure website has been updated and the current link to the NDIS Check application will be expiring soon.

If you have any internal resources assisting workers in applying, please ensure the link to DoTDirect is updated to: https://www.transport.wa.gov.au/dotdirect

Recent events

The Community Engagement and Compliance teams attended the Goldfields region from 28 to 30 July 2025 to meet with providers and present ‘Navigating Screening for the NDIS Check’.

The presentation discussed what the NDIS Check is, how to apply and the criminal history screening process in detail with applicants and providers.

Navigating Screening for the NDIS Check

The Community Engagement and Customer Support teams attended the Perth Disability Connections Expo from 8 to 9 August 2025.

The teams spoke to more than 270 people, including NDIS participants, workers and NDIS providers.
