I hope you are all doing well as we approach Thanksgiving break and the end of the semester! We are actively looking forward and planning for one of our favorite Boston College traditions: the Mile 21 performer! We want your input to assist us in the decision-making process; please fill out this survey about your genre preference and any particular artists you want to see on Marathon Monday.

If you are looking for a midterm study break, some exciting events are happening on campus! This week's highlights include the Center for Student Wellness's Mindful Monday, Friendsgiving hosted by the BAIC, Campus Ministry's Multi Faith Thanksgiving Celebration, Deans and Donuts, and the Boston College Theatre Department's Production of Pippin!

The Career Center

Endeavor is a free three-day career exploration program held over winter break. Through reflective exercises, conversations with alumni, and industry immersions with employers, you will explore the fit of a few career options and leave knowing at least one career field you are interested in further exploring.

Seminar Learning Outcomes

• Efficiently target companies that sponsor H-1B visas and hire international students
• Learn to cultivate and use professional connections through strategic networking and informational interviews
• Leverage your story, skills, expertise, your university network, and brand to achieve your career and life goals
• Practice how to use your cultural diversity as an advantage and effectively convey your story to hiring managers

Multi-Faith Thanksgiving Celebration. Come reflect on gratitude and celebrate the diverse faith traditions practiced across campus on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 12 p.m. in the Heights Room. All members of the BC community are invited to attend the program, experience prayer, and enjoy fellowship over delicious food afterwards.

What Just Happened: An Election Post-Mortem with the Boston Globe James Pindell

The Journalism Program welcomes James Pindell to campus to talk about the outcome of the 2024 presidential election, his experience covering it as a national political reporter, and what the results say about the country's direction. James will be in conversation with Professor Scott Helman. Light refreshments will be served.
