We did very well with CaRMS this year, matching approximately 97 per cent of our medical students to residency training programs in the first round. We are very proud of and happy for our students! We are also working closely with our students who didn't match to ensure they have the support they need for round 2. ![]() In addition, this weekend we are holding interviews for the medical school, and are welcoming hundreds of students from across Canada to our campus. Lastly, members of our leadership team are currently in China, working with our partner schools to enhance training and faculty development opportunities. As a national requirement, every EPA observation form in CBD includes the question: "Do you have any concerns regarding this learner's professionalism?" Unlike the FoMD's professionalism button, clicking 'yes' to to this question in CBME.med does not trigger the professionalism process/review with the FoMD. R-1 Main Residency Match The 2019 R-1 first iteration Match Day results are in, and PGME is pleased to share with you the exciting news that our school has matched 180 out of 189 residency training positions. The unfilled positions will go to second iteration, with those match results available on April 10. We look forward to welcoming all our new trainees at Resident Orientation Day on Wednesday, June 26!
