Meet your new AI sidekick |
Now live: ask questions, launch programs, and build faster with Extole's new in-app AI
chat. |
|
Introducing: In-app AI chat |
AI chat is now live for select users in My.Extole! Click the blue "Ask Extole" button to open an AI chat panel wherever you are in the
platform. Ask it a question the way you’d ask a teammate, and the AI will pull the answer from your program data, campaign setup, and Extole help docs. |
It can do a lot more than answer questions. You choose how much the chat can do with three modes: |
- Ask: look things up and create reports.
- Build: everything in Ask, plus create and edit drafts, like a new campaign.
- Full
access: everything in Build, plus publish campaigns, issue rewards, and make account-level changes.
|
When a step needs a higher mode, the chat pauses and asks you to switch, then picks up right where it left off. Every action runs with your
own permissions and is logged just as if you’d made it yourself. |
The chat is available to customers on Flow Builder. Not on Flow Builder yet? Ask your CSM about
upgrading. In the meantime, the Extole MCP can answer many of the same questions from the AI tool you already use (more on that below). |
|
|
What do you want to know? |
Pick a goal and try one of these prompts. |
1. “Why did this number change?” |
Get to the cause behind a jump or a dip. |
- “Why did referral conversions drop last week?”
- “What drove the spike in shares via SMS?”
|
Here’s what that looks like on a Monday morning: |
The chat shows its work. It pulls the right reports, tells you what it’s comparing, and won’t name a cause until the numbers are
in. |
|
|
2. “How do my programs compare?” |
See which programs and campaigns are pulling their weight. |
- “Compare my refer-a-friend and welcome offer programs over the last 90 days.”
- “Which campaign had the highest conversion rate this quarter?”
|
3. “Why wasn’t this person rewarded?” |
Answer reward questions without opening a support ticket. |
- “Why didn’t jane@example.com get a reward?”
- “Show me rewards that are still pending.”
|
4. “How is this program set up?” |
Get a plain-language walkthrough of any program. |
- “How does my refer-a-friend program work?”
- “Show me the reward rules on my superadvocate program.”
|
5. “How can I improve my results?” |
Brainstorm ideas based on your own data. |
- “What could I test to improve conversion on my referral program?”
- “Which audiences would respond best to a burst offer?”
|
6. “Can you build this for me?” |
Have the chat create reports in Ask mode, or switch to Build mode to draft new campaigns for you to review before anything goes
live. |
- “Create a report of rewards issued in September, broken out by program.”
- “Draft a holiday version of my refer-a-friend campaign.”
|

Live demo: Mastering Extole’s New AI Chat |
Monday, October 26 | 9:00–9:45 a.m. PT |
Watch our team put the chat to work live. They’ll check program performance, run and refine reports, and get help with program setup. Bring
your questions for live Q&A at the end. All customers are welcome, and we’ll share the recording afterward. |
Not on Flow Builder yet? Try the Extole MCP |
The in-app chat and the Extole MCP give you two ways to work with your programs using AI: |
- In-app chat: lives inside My.Extole with no setup. Available to Flow Builder customers.
- Extole MCP: connects Extole to the AI tool you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, and more. Each user completes a one-time setup.
|
Once you’re connected, try asking: |
- Marketers: “How is my welcome offer doing?”
- Developers: “How do I integrate with iOS?”
- Support: “Why did maryc@domain.com
not get a reward?”
|
Run into an issue? Type “Please report this issue to Extole” and the MCP will send it straight to our team. |
Partner update: Real-time banking data from Q2 |
Financial institutions on Q2 can now sync account and transaction data from their core to Extole automatically. The new data sync is built on
Q2’s SDK and Caliper API. You can qualify members for offers based on their account and transaction activity, such as opening a new product or making a deposit, even if they never log in to digital banking. |
- Ongoing sync: account and transaction records flow from Q2 to Extole on a regular cadence.
- You control the data: include or exclude specific product or transaction codes. SSNs and passwords are excluded by default.
- Optional activity tracking: track specific member actions, like successful logins, alongside account data.
|
Set it up from the Q2 integration page in My.Extole. Q2 installs the integration within 10 days of your request. |
Pair this with a deposit-nudge offer like the one in our August issue to reward new accounts once they’re funded. |
The people behind the product: Meet Andrei |
Andrei Preguza is the Extole engineer behind our new Q2 data integration. We asked him how it came together. |
What problem were you solving? |
| | “Clients would come to us with great ideas for new offers, but getting the right data into Extole meant a lengthy implementation. With the Q2 SDK and Caliper API, FIs can securely share customer data
and launch new campaigns in a fraction of the time.” |
|
| | “We’ve invested heavily in Extole’s developer experience. Our MCP, CLI, and docs let us build and test with AI agents directly against the Q2 platform. Q2’s toolkit helped too: we used their CLI and Q2
Chat throughout development, plus office hours with Q2 engineers.” |
|
Any advice for developers building in Q2? |
| | “If you’re building in Q2, make use of the full Q2 Developer and Innovation Studio toolkit. Start with Q2 Chat, experiment early in your sandbox, and bring your questions to developer office
hours!” |
