Council is excited to celebrate the Moon Festival this year along The Crescent at Homebush West (just outside Flemington Train Station) on Saturday 4 October. Join us for free kid’s activities, cultural performances, live music, a colourful lion dance and delicious food. Please click here for more information and I look forward to seeing you there!
Community consultation for the proposed suburb boundary change in Homebush (south of the railway) will end on Friday 12 September. If you have not shared your feedback, please click here to share your thoughts with Council. Sharing your thoughts is important as community feedback will inform Council’s formal proposal to the NSW Geographical Names Board.
Just a reminder that I’ll be out for Mayoral Street Meetings this weekend. You can catch me at Strathfield Square on Saturday 6 September from 10am to 12pm and at Homebush Village (outside Biryani Corner) on Sunday 7 September from 10am – 12pm.

Moon Festival is 1 month away 🌕
The count down is now on for Council's Moon Festival 2025! You're invited to the Crescent, Homebush West for a magical event as we honour of one of the most popular holidays in East and Southeast Asian culture!
We'll celebrate with a fun-filled programme with lion dancers, free kids' activities, delicious eats and live music!

Strathfield Golf Club is offering residents of Strathfield LGA a community membership which entitles you to 5% off food and beverage, 1 complimentary golf lesson and $20 off public access golf bookings (presently $75 per round).
