The architecture was modeled after Imperial China’s spectacular architectural achievements; however, the theater was actually designed by two white Europeans during a time of exclusion of Asian immigrants within the United States. The Washington State Historical Society grant defines the terms of eligibility and Interns must be either (1) currently enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education in Washington State, or (2) have graduated within the last two years from an accredited institution of higher education and be currently residing in Washington State. Applications from those who have been traditionally underrepresented in the theatrical industry are strongly encouraged. For more information, click here. Don't Miss!
