Running a burst campaign with Extole is easy!

- Duplicate a live campaign and rename it to make it clear this is your burst
- Update your creatives and offer to align with your burst pomotion (like doubling rewards from $50 to $100)
- Create your new reward in the Rewards Center and swap it into your burst campaign
- Push your burst live by selecting the option to "Go live as a burst."
Going live will automatically pause your original campaign. New customers will see the burst,
while existing advocates will continue to engage with the original campaign. For everyone to see the burst, you'll need to end the previous campaign.
Don't forget to promote your burst through email, SMS, and onsite promotions to maximize engagement!

Use "Promote to audiences" to send a promotional email that highlights the elevated offer, and send reminder emails to prompt friends and advocates to redeem their reward before the end of the promotional period.

2. Monitor your dashboard for key campaign insights

Your campaign dashboard will give you an actionable visual for how well your burst is doing. Monitor for a lift in conversion rate and revenue. Once you've run multiple bursts, you can look at long-term data to spot whether spikes in participation and shares correlate with burst campaigns.

3. Experiment with different reward types
|
|
Go to the "Rewards" page in My.Extole and select "New Reward" to create a new reward type and/or reward value for your burst campaign. If you typically offer discount codes, experiment with gift cards instead. You may discover that your audience responds better to a reward type you don't typically use.

4. Schedule a report to compare burst vs. evergreen performance
|
|
Generate a report that compares your burst performance with your evergreen campaign. Schedule it to send daily or weekly to relevant team members so you can stay on top of performance, and optimize where necessary.
