The Strathfield Town Centre will come to life Thursday 2 – Saturday 4 May with cultural performances, live entertainment, local student artwork projections and lighting installations. Last year’s event was a great success and I look forward to celebrating with you again. Hudson Park Driving Range is one of Strathfield’s most popular attractions, and as such we have been trialling extended hours. You can now practice or challenge your mates to a hit until 1am, 7 days a week. The extended hours trial will be ending on 25 May, at which time Council will decide whether they should be permanent or not. You can learn more about the Driving Range here. Finally, plans are underway for our Anzac Day commemoration at Davey Square on Thursday 25 April. This event has continued to grow over the last few years, and it is one of the Mayoral roles I feel very honoured to take part in. I hope to see you there. If you need to contact me or have any questions, please do so by emailing me cr.kpensabene@strathfield.nsw.gov.au or ring our office on 9748 9999 Register for the exhibition Safe From The Rising Tide?: Andrew Tomkins Make sure to register for the official opening of the next art exhibition at Strathfield Library's Ironbark Gallery.
