REDEFINING READING
Plans to transform the 1970s shopping centre into a state-of-the-art, 600 unit BTR led development move one step forward with a recently granted planning consent from Reading Borough Council. Located in central Reading, the site forms a significant part of the wider strategic Minster Quarter Development. This project builds upon a previously approved 422 unit scheme from 2020, with a fresh focus on technical delivery and improved design outcomes.
In partnership with McLaren Living and AEW, and alongside AHR Architects, M+A are creating a public realm that celebrates the site’s civic heritage. The design includes high-quality podium courtyards, roof terraces with panoramic views and flexible amenity spaces tailored to modern living including integrated play features.
RAISING THE ROOF AT THE DAUBENY PROJECT
We recently joined the celebration of The Daubeny Project topping out ceremony at The Oxford Science Park, marking a key milestone with the completion of the structural frame and the installation of the roof on the first building in this pioneering development.
This moment not only signifies the rapid progress of The Daubeny Project, but also brings us one step closer to delivering 450,000 sq ft of cutting-edge life science space, all set within a thoughtfully designed and ecologically rich landscape. The scheme aims to deliver outdoor collaborations spaces and a net gain of tree canopy over the next 20 years.
In collaboration with Mace and architects Scott Brownrigg, we will play a key role to support the delivery of landscape design. The scheme was shortlisted for Best New Campus Development in the Construction News and Property Week - Life Sciences and Research Clusters Award, an accolade that celebrates excellence in real estate design and delivery.
DESIGNED IN THE SPIRIT OF THE GANGES
With design nearing completion, we’re proud to collaborate in redefining luxury living through Ganga Realty’s upcoming project, Anantam 85 in Gurugram, India - a development rooted in the ethos: 'Life is Pure'. Set across a prime 5.3 acre site in Sector 85, Anantam 85 features three iconic towers rising between 55 and 57 floors.
Designed with a quad-core structure, the towers combine architectural elegance and structural integrity, offering panoramic views of unparalleled grandeur. Inspired by the gentle, flowing movement of the Ganges, the public realm and landscape design use organic forms to shape footpaths and open spaces, fostering community interaction.
The overall design brings together a variety of dynamic spaces to create a luxurious, sustainable, and enriching living experience. Read more...
