QLDC Winter Road Report - 22 August 2023

Good morning! 

It's cold and dry out there today.  Grit trucks are out patrolling the district - particularly the Crown Range Road, through Cardrona Valley, around Arrowtown / Whakatipu Basin, Fernhill, Queenstown Hill and Glenorchy Road. 

For those traveling further afield, State Highway 6, south of Kingston is currently closed due to an accident.   Keep an eye on the Waka Kotahi journey planner for updates  

Take it slow, watch your following distances and be mindful of loose grit.  

Have a great Tuesday everyone!  According to google it's the most productive day of the week - so go forth and produce!  Just don't start anything new - apparently that's bad luck... If you spot any issues on the roads this morning, give us a call on 03 441 0499.
