Following DDD training in July, the school is now reaping the benefits, using DDD term-to-date insights to help manage their 1 923 learners.
 
 
             
   
 
     
  The more frequent, regular and accurate a school’s data submissions are, the faster officials can get the insights they need to make a real difference in the classroom. We’re only a few weeks into the new term, but teams are already picking up the pace! Here are the top four provinces with the highest percentage of schools consistently submitting term-to-date (weekly) data in Term 3:  
             
 
     
#1 with 68%   #2 with 62%   #3 with 61%   #4 with 59%
Limpopo takes top spot, with 68% of schools submitting weekly data in Term 3 to date.   Mpumalanga takes second place, with 62% of schools submitting data on a weekly basis.   Gauteng comes in at third, with 61% of schools submitting each week so far.   Northern Cape is in fourth place, with 59% of schools submitting weekly data in Term 3 so far.
 
     
   
 
     
  DDD PROGRESS  
     
  One of the key advantages of DDD’s cloud-based platform is that it is quick and easy to implement new features and subtle improvements, and the DDD programme team is making the most of this. Enhancements are going live every month, and the best way to benefit from these is to log in as often as data is submitted – at least every week! Changes on the way
The Previous Year Promotions section (see button on the Detail page) is live! Colours now show the same promotion status across all three visuals and a table has been added to drill down to different sub-entities. We have also added retained/unknown statuses for a richer view.   Prevention is better than cure, and this is especially true when you submit data every week and track learners with term-to-date insights from the DDD Dashboard. Sharing his thoughts during a DDD visit to Philena Farm School, Mr Nthabalala added that he’ll also be using the dashboard to manage staff and shape interventions.   Ms Mbhalati adds that she can monitor learner attendance and keep a close eye on learners who were progressed.​ “With DDD, I will always have my data, everywhere I go.”​   With the spotlight on year-end preparations, Ms Mthethwa appreciates how DDD makes analysing results easier for intermediate and senior phase teachers.​
