Event update: Logan Pest Fishing CupBad weather postponed the 2025 Logan Pest Fishing Cup, but great news – a new date is locked in! Come cast your lines and join us for a fantastic day of fishing on Sunday 18 January. Refunds have been processed, and ticket holders will get an email to reclaim their spot before tickets reopen. Missed out? Tickets will be available from Friday 12 December.

Protecting local koalas: Fighting chlamydia in the wildChlamydia is a serious threat to koalas in South East Queensland. Council is supporting the Reducing the Threat of Chlamydia in SEQ’s Wild Koalas program, delivered by Healthy Land & Water and funded by the Queensland Government. This initiative uses thermal drone surveys, detection dogs, health checks, treatment and vaccination to protect koalas and monitor their recovery.

The Environmental Award celebrates individuals, groups and organisations making a positive contribution to the city's environment through sustainable initiatives. Bring a copy of your current rates notice to one of the collection locations and choose from a wide range of plants.
