Click here Dear reader It has been an engaging month for WorkCover WA with the release of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Bill 2021 (Consultation Draft) for public consultation. The journey to modernise workers compensation laws in Western Australia has been a long one, so it is pleasing to announce the draft Bill has been released for public comment. Public consultation is a critical part of the process and ensures WorkCover WA continues an open and transparent approach on the legislative review. In addition to the release of the Consultation Draft, WorkCover WA has finalised the 2020/21 Annual Report, organised information sessions for the new Workplace Rehabilitation Providers Principles and Standards of Practice, and commenced planning the 2022 WorkCover WA Conference. You will find more information on our work by reading this month’s newsletter.
