This is an announcement that the deadline for submissions on the National Organic Standard has been extended to Friday 16 June.

During this consultation period for the National Organic Standard, we have had many requests that an extension be provided to allow for fully formed and constructive submissions to be made. We understand that the time frame for consultation has been tight and difficult to meet for many during this busy period. We would like to thank you for your engagement throughout the process and hope that this allows for greater understanding of the proposal content and the time to form your feedback.

Along with the consultation extension, some of you may know this week’s virtual drop-in sessions were postponed. These have now been rescheduled for next week. Please see below for drop-in session topics and times.

Tuesday 23 May 9:30 am – 11:00 am: General/Plants/Inputs Requirements

Wednesday 24 May 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm: General/Livestock Requirements
