Free Walking Tour for Escorted Tour
As you may have heard, Tourism Sun Peaks began a pilot project last summer providing escorted tour guests with the opportunity to join a free guided walking tour. Due to its huge success, the program has been expanded to run three times daily from May 12 to September 30, 2025. This is a fantastic chance for your clients to join a friendly local on a guided walk through the charming village and scenic valley trails. It’s the perfect way to soak up the beauty of Sun Peaks, discover hidden gems, and learn all about this unique mountain village. Guests will get the inside scoop on local events, history, and stories from an experienced Sun Peaks ambassador.
The tour is available to all escorted tour guests staying at any accommodation provider, with guests receiving a voucher at check-in containing additional information and tour times.

Get Ready for an Action-Packed Summer
Summer 2025 is set to be full of excitement, with lots of major events bringing music, arts, and adventure to the mountains. Signature festivals like the Retro Concert Weekend and First Fridays will return, along with annual favorites introduced last year, such as Create! Arts & Crafts Festival, Paws in the Peaks, and Speed Week for motorsport enthusiasts.

Savour Culinary Festival Debuts at Sun Peaks
Sun Peaks is taking its culinary scene to new heights with the debut of the Savour Culinary Festival, running from March 27–30, 2025. This multi-day event will bring together celebrated chefs, winemakers, and food artisans for a truly unforgettable gastronomic experience.
Event highlights include: Epicurean, A Celebration of the Okanagan’s Finest – An exclusive dining event curated by La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Hands-on culinary workshops, beer and wine tastings, and unique dining experiences. Snowmobile Date Night, featuring a luxury charcuterie spread in a magical alpine setting. Savour Passport, a tasting tour of Sun Peaks' best food and drink, with a chance to win a summer weekend getaway. Culinary Masterclass Series, kicking off with A Taste of Southern India led by Executive Chef Kartik Kumar.

Group Lessons Now Available for Trade Partners
The team at Sun Peaks Resort has listened to your feedback, and they're thrilled to announce that starting in the 2025-26 winter season, travel trade partners will have access to net rates on group lessons—a highly requested addition to contracts! Previously, net rates were only available for private lessons, but now, your clients can enjoy affordable, expert-led group instruction at Sun Peaks Sports School. With top-tier instructors, terrain suited for all skill levels, and a personalized, welcoming experience, lessons ensure every guest has a fun, safe, and confidence-boosting time on the slopes.
