Welcome to our weekly update report. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.
Notification of suspension of BMSB treatment providers
An audit of offshore treatment providers is currently underway.
As a result of issues identified during these audits 2 treatment providers have been suspended. They are:
Ser.Chim. Fumigazioni S.R.L. (AEI: IT4027SB) ITALY
Eco Worldwide Solutions GmbH (AEI: DE4023SB) GERMANY
If you have consignments currently on the water that have been treated by any of these providers please submit your applications as soon as possible. We will work through available options for retreatment on arrival with you.
Sea freight queue
For this week, sea freight lodgement turnaround is estimated at 3 days.
On Monday 17 March, morning, the total sea freight queue (includes Australian lodgements) stood at 265 lodgements and TET were processing lodgements due Wednesday at 8am.
Last week: average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 13:32 hrs (previous week 15:43hrs) and for second submissions 4:57 hrs (previous week 7:07hrs).
Airfreight queue
For the coming week, air freight lodgement turnaround is estimated 2 hours
On Monday 17 March, morning, there was 0 airfreight lodgement in the queue.
Last week: average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 1:03 hrs (previous week 1:08 hrs) and for second submissions 1:31 hrs (previous week 1:36 hrs).
Australia queue
On Monday 17 March, morning, there were 62 Australian specific lodgements, the team is processing consignments due back Wednesday at 8am.
Last week:
Average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 1:07 hrs (previous week 1:15 hrs) and for second submissions 1:37 hrs (previous week 1:02 hrs)
Average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 10:13 hrs (previous week 12:56 hrs) and for second submissions was 3:34 hrs (previous week 5:37 hrs).
