Report littering or illegal dumping

Cleaning up litter and illegal dumping is costly.

As the city grows, more resources and staff will be needed to mange the problem.

You can report littering and illegal dumping incidents to the City of Gold Coast in the following ways:

Tree planting-Monteclair Court, Mermaid Waters

I am pleased to advise our Parks Branch have completed tree planting in Monteclair Court, Mermaid Waters as requested by the residents.

Tree species are a mixture of Trisatniopsis luscious, Elaeocarpus reticularis, and Waterhousia floribunda

Eleven new trees have been installed.

Our tree contractor will now maintain and establish the new trees over the next twelve months.

Junior Council Leadership Program

A milestone has been reached with the celebration of 30 years of the City of Gold Coast’s Junior Council Civic Leadership Program.

Established in 1993, the program now engages more than 120 Year 10 and 11 students from over 30 local high schools every year.

The future of our city is in safe hands.

Tip for safe and legal parking

Parking on nature strips and footpaths is one of the most commonly overlooked rules which apply to motorists in the city.

Motorists MUST NOT park any part of a vehicle on a nature strip or footpath. This applies to all vehicles, including motorcycles and unattached trailers or boats.
