Dear Eagles, Welcome back from Spring Break! Foremost, I am getting very excited for a NEW Marathon Monday aka Mile 21. As some of you may know, I am running the Boston Marathon and have completed over 20 marathons to date. Running a marathon is challenging, but I always get an extra burst of energy when people cheer me on, so I would like to make sure that we cheer for you! If you are running the marathon and would like to be featured (and your charity if applicable) on BC social media and during Mile 21 promotion and programming, please fill out this form. See flyer here. There is a lot planned for the remainder of this semester and this week kicks it all off! In addition to ALC Showdown this Saturday, St. Patrick's Day brings a multitude of healthy ways to celebrate. As a matter of fact, if you attend one of the events below and/or are celebrating the holiday in a healthy way, take a photo and send to bcsa@bc.edu, you will be entered into a raffle for a St. Patrick's Day themed gift basket. Finally, it's hard to believe but we are at the halfway mark of the Spring Semester, pop by 4th Floor Maloney Hall on March 17 starting at 11:00 a.m. for a treat! Throughout the season of Lent, a member of the BC community shares his or her thoughts on the season and the importance of passing on the faith. A new reflection is posted on Friday for each week of Lent. Looking for more events or ways to get involved? Visit MyBC and the Division of Student Affairs |
