ACT Health refreshes its commissioning approach
ACT Health is refreshing their commissioning approach to reframe expectations and timeframes for commissioning cycles through three commissioning pathways: intensive, flexible or supported.
Annual survey delivers improvement opportunities
Three years into commissioning, we can say it has been more challenging than we conceived.

Senior officials and sector leaders dialogue
The new Commissioning Senior Officials Group (CSOG) held the first interactive session between CSOG and the non-government sector on 26 September.

Invest series: fast-tracking a common costing tool
The Sector Sustainability Program is fast-tracking developing of a costing tool to support the wave of investment and procurement activity over the next 12 to 18 months.
Accessing lived experience insights
We are bringing lived experience insights into a central location so that government and non-government organisations can draw on existing insights, voices and narratives of lived and living experience to inform ongoing service improvements.
October Commissioning Update
Together we are actively commissioning sub-sectors across the human service system.
Since the August update, some cycles have moved along the commissioning phases: discover, strategise, design, invest, deliver and integrate.

15 to 21 October – National Carers Week
17 October – CSD Community Sector Update
24 October – workshop for improving the funding efficiency and effectiveness under the Sector Sustainability Program
30 October – workshop for consumer and peak bodies that covers driving human service reform
30 October – applications close for the Therapeutic Support Panel to support raising the minimum age of criminal responsibility.
28 November – ACT Health Sector Update
