Dear Eagles, As we begin the Lenten season, a traditional time for reflection and renewal, I invite you to join Mission and Ministry for Ash Wednesday services (schedule here and below) and a variety of upcoming programming. I also had the privilege of participating in the "Preaching from Sr. Thea's Kitchen" series that offers reflections from the BC community on the intersection of scripture and racial justice. With Ramadan also beginning this week, BC Dining is collaborating with the Muslim Student Association to offer specialized menu options. Additional opportunities this week include today's exhibit in Gasson Hall, the History of Black Lives at BC, Wednesday Wellness programming with the Center for Student Wellness and the BAIC, and a wide array of academic events. If you are seeking a summer internship, the Career Center's Eagle Intern Fellowship Program provides financial support of up to $4,800 to Boston College undergraduates who are on financial aid and obtain internships with organizations that are not able to provide a salary. Finally, make sure you cheer for our Women's and Men's hockey teams at home this weekend! Yours in Community,
