Dear Eagles, This week, our campus community focuses on reflection, heritage, and well-being. Tomorrow, as we observe Veterans Day, we pause to honor the service and sacrifice of our country's veterans. Boston College is holding a special mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Chapel, and BC's Military & Veteran Support Office offers some guidance on how you can actively engage with and support the veterans in your life. We are also excited to celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Heritage Month. Please stop by the 4th Floor Maloney Hall reception area this Thursday at 1:00 p.m. to participate. Explore programs from the Murray Center for Student Wellness, featuring MENtal Health Matters, a panel focused on men’s mental health, and and Body Neutrality event. Finally, be sure to take note of some academic highlights, including the continuation of Global Engagement's International Education Weeks and a discussion on the impact of climate. Yours in Community,

Veterans Day is a time to honor those who served and sacrificed for our nation. If you know a veteran, please reach out to them. Many veterans feel their service goes unacknowledged. The simplest way to start is to ask: "Would you mind if I asked you about your time in the military?" This opens the door for them to share their experiences—where they served, their job, or what basic training was like. This small act of courage will make their day. Here are some tips on how to get the conversation going. Indigenous People's Heritage Month
