Dear Eagles,

Today marks the anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Let us take a moment to reflect and pray for those who lost their lives and recognize the bravery of those heroes who saved so many, including Welles Crowther, who we will honor as a community this Saturday at the BC vs. Florida State Football game.

As the momentum of the semester (and your course work) picks up, I would like to highlight the importance of your wellness. Wellfest is our kickoff event that is hosted by Center for Student Wellness on Wednesday, September 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on O'Neill Plaza.

I would also like to highlight upcoming Career Center events such as the Finance, Consulting, Marketing, & Business Career Fair this Friday and the STEM Career Fair on Sept. 22. I encourage you to check out the Career Center's website for more programs and events to help you explore career paths and opportunities. There will be many more recruiting and networking events in many disciplines (e.g., year of service, social impact, marketing, allied health, education) throughout the year.

Finally, let's kickoff our week celebrating the start of Hispanic Heritage Month.  Join BAIC at the opening ceremony on Friday at 6 p.m. in Gasson 100!

Yours in Community,

Dr. Shawna Cooper Whitehead
Vice President for Student Affairs
