The Extole Model Context Protocol (MCP) connects Extole to any MCP-compatible AI environment giving your team a permissioned way to work directly with your programs through the AI tools you already use. Using plain language, you can build, manage, and optimize while trusting Extole to handle secure reward delivery and fraud prevention underneath. Here's what you can do, starting today:

Every capability surfaced through MCP is backed by Extole's published API contracts — the same endpoints available to any integration. We've expanded our API to make the platform semantically clear, meaning an AI agent can traverse component relationships and understand what it is working with from the JSON structure itself. All MCP actions execute under the authenticated user's existing permissions, following the
same access controls that apply in My Extole.

How to connect to the Extole MCP
|
|
Every person who wants to use the Extole MCP must complete setup individually. Setup varies slightly depending on the AI tool you plan to use Extole with.
|
|
For a comprehensive setup guide that covers how to configure the MCP connector in ChatGPT, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, and other MCP-compatible tools, please see the MCP setup guide housed in our documentation (linked below).

The MCP setup guide also covers both authentication types available to users, OAuth and access token authentication. Each of these requires users to have an existing My Extole account. For additional assistance, please reach out to your CSM.

|
How Extole is evolving to be completely AI ready
|
|
Our top priority in 2026 is preparing our platform for AI-enabled teams. What this means in practice is ensuring our platform architecture is legible to AI agents and developers so they can navigate and build on it. Here's what we've done to make that happen:
|
|
Extole's API surface has been significantly restructured: full program control through a single coherent interface, strict adherence to OpenAPI standards so your
IDE and AI tools know exactly what is available, and substantially improved reference documentation. If you've connected to Extole's APIs before and found the surface inconsistent or hard to navigate, the current state is materially better.
|
|
The Extole Command Line Interface (CLI) brings the same surface to the terminal, where developers can build and validate programs without going through the Extole UI. Script it, pipe it, integrate it into CI, or use it as the interface through which agents take direct action on the platform. Because the CLI and MCP share the same underlying API surface, workflows built in one are portable to the other.

Extole's AI roadmap extends this readiness vision even further. 2026 plans include pre-publish validation for all components, component versioning, expanded write operations, and deeper integration with standard agent frameworks to enable smoother AI workflows. New in platform: AI reporting tool
|
|
Looking for specific program data, but unsure how to pull it? Need advice on how to structure your report? Ask the AI-powered report finder, now available in My Extole. Chat with the AI in plain language and quickly generate reports that align with your use case. Additional use cases include troubleshooting reporting runtime errors or summarizing existing reports.

|
