A Beacon of Safety for Manly's Shelly Beach
Visitors to one of the city’s most iconic coastal locations, Shelly Beach, will be able to swim a little safer with new lifesaving technology installed for use in emergencies, unveiled last weekend by the NSW Minister for Police and Emergency Services, David Elliott.

Surf Life Saving NSW COVID-19 Vaccination Survey
Tomorrow, SLSNSW will be distributing a COVID-19 vaccination survey to every member and Nipper parent in NSW. Please encourage completion of this survey. The survey closes at 9am Monday 25 October. If a member does not receive it, please encourage them to:
- Check the email address they have recorded on the SLS Members Area
- Check their Junk folder
- Contact the SLSNSW Membership Team if they still cannot find the email

2021 Bate Bay Gold
With Queensland borders unlikely to open for NSW athletes to participate in the Coolangatta Gold, SLSNSW and Wanda SLSC will once again be holding the Bate Bay Gold, a short course endurance event. The event will take place on Saturday, 20 November 2021. More information will be released soon.
Tomorrow Man - The Palms Blokes Night, Pacific Palms SLSC
Fri 19 Nov, 6:30pm - This Tomorrow Man workshop is a community supported event to increase mental health awareness and explore how we can look after ourselves, our mates and our families better. Have some laughs and get some practical tools to go beyond the banter with your mates and loved ones in the Palms community.

Grants & Fundraising
Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through the Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.
