Fellow Arrowmen,
Spring Fellowship is a few short weeks away. March 10th through 12th, our lodge with be gathering at Cherokee Scout Reservation for a fun weekend of fellowship and service. There will be carnival-themed games and activities and friendly competition between our chapters. We will also be prepping for the quest for the golden arrow at our section E8 Conclave coming up in April.
While the upcoming weekend will be full of excitement, we have some business to discuss. The Order Of The Arrow is making changes that will impact us as a lodge. These changes will be gone over in great depth at our first-ever lodge-wide meeting, which will take place in the council ring on Saturday, March 11th. Arrowmen, we need your support to help share these changes. With that, I ask that each of you ask a few of your friends to attend Spring Fellowship and our lodge meeting with you. I look forward to seeing all of you there!

Unit Elections are an important facet of our lodge and are crucial for growing membership. Many of you remember when a team of OA members came to your troop meeting and expressed what it means to be inducted. Do you remember the excitement you felt once you saw the scouts wearing the sashes? Being part of an election team is a great opportunity to get involved with representing what the Order of the Arrow is to local troops. Our job is to find those scouts who have gone above and beyond what is asked of them at the troop level. We, as brothers working diligently to inspire other scouts, play a critical part in lighting the torch for future members to devote themselves to a life of cheerful service.
If you are interested in being part of your Chapter's Unit Election Team, please contact your Chapter leadership and join us at our election team training event at Spring Fellowship.

Come one, come all, to Tsoiotsi Tsogalii's 2023 Spring Fellowship! Join us for a spectacular weekend you won't forget! Come on down for fun and fellowship at Cherokee Scout Reservation from March 10-12! A few of the activities planned include a giant slide, a dunking booth, an AIA Exhibit, airsoft, Chapter competitions, a magic show, and so much more!

Special Called Lodge Meeting
Recently, the National Order of the Arrow committee has made some significant policy changes that will impact unit elections and the induction process. These changes will impact the culture of our lodge in a positive manner. To ensure their successful implementation and that all lodge members are aware of these changes, we will host a whole lodge meeting on Saturday afternoon of the 2023 Spring Fellowship.
To demonstrate how important it is that all members make an effort to attend, the lodge will provide every member who is present for the duration of the lodge meeting with a special lodge flap (see above image).
This meeting will be held on Saturday, March 10, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Cherokee Scout Reservation.
You must register to attend if you will not be attending Spring Fellowship.
If you are attending Spring Fellowship, you DO NOT need to register for this event.

Conclave Lodge Flap Preorder
Each Arrowman who attends the 2023 Conclave with the lodge contingent will receive one of our 2023 conclave flaps in their spirit pack.
To ensure you have your 2023 conclave flaps for wearing/sharing/trading during the conclave, we will offer you the opportunity to pre-order the patch.
Arrowmen who are not attending the conclave may pre-order patches.

Interested in Ceremonies?
Our ceremony team is always looking for new members to assist in inductions and competitions! Ceremonies are a great way to get involved in Tsoiotsi Tsogalii Lodge, whether by serving as a principle, helping with set up, or by being a torchbearer. Senior ceremonialists are always available to help and guide new members of our team.

Sam McNabb 2022 National Fancy Dance Champion Flap Pre-Order
Our Brother, Arrowman Sam McNabb, won the fancy dance competition at the 2022 National Order of the Arrow Conference.
It is customary to make a lodge flap to commemorate a national dance champion's achievements. We are proud to release the Sam McNabb 2022 National Fancy Dance Championship flap for preorder. The flap design takes inspiration from Sam's dance clothes.
We will deliver the flaps to you at the 2023 conclave or mail them to your home.

Service Corps
Get excited about service because we have many opportunities for you to partake in! Spring Fellowship is right around the corner, and we need your help! Join the Lodge 70 Service Corps if you would like to help with Spring Fellowship or with any other event in the future.
We will be having an Elangomat training for any who are interested. If you want to be an Elangomat for the upcoming induction, you will want to go to this as we will dive deeper into the process of being one.
Make sure to mark March 18th on your calendar because we are hosting a Council clean-up at the Scout Service Center. This is a one-day event, but you still need to bring your health forms.
