The SLDL office hopes to engage students, faculty, and staff in ways
that promote and develop an inclusive and diverse environment.
We oversee student clubs, promote student engagement, host events and workshops related to diversity and leadership, advise international students, promote mentorship, and manage health insurance enrollment. For more information on events, visit the CGU Events Calendar.

**kin*dle Donate for Ontario Reign Tickets November 13-30th**

Game Night | Friday, December 1st | 7PM

November and December are well-known for their generous atmosphere. We are partnering with the local Prison Library Project to donate any used or new books. The most prized books for the PLP are dictionaries, thesauruses, composition books, and G.E.D. prep materials. Also, feel free to donate any fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, or other genres. To receive your Ontario Reign Tickets bring your donations by the SLDL Office and register between November 13-30th. Game night tickets are reserved for December 1st, 2023, at the Toyota Arena, 4000 Ontario Center, Ontario, CA 91764. The Reign play the Coachella Valley Firebirds @ 7 pm.

World AIDS Day 35: Remember and Commit

December 1, 2023

Every year the world unites to commemorate World AIDS Day. This annual event serves as a reminder of the global struggle to end HIV-related stigma, an opportunity to honor those we have lost, and a rallying cry to continue working toward a day when HIV is no longer a public health threat.

Breathe Week

Join the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) and Student Life, Diversity & Leadership (SLDL) to take a moment to pause before finals week. All week long we will host a series of events from Thurs. 11/30 – Thurs. 12/7, including therapy dogs, a food truck, film screening, and more.

Student Spotlight

This month, we're highlighting Moritz Kaufhold. Moritz is an exchange student from Germany pursuing his Master's in Accounting and Finance at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland. He enjoys CGU for its small class sizes, and the more personal student-professor interactions, which he finds enhances the studying experience. Moritz finds that Claremont is perfect as it gives him the chance to explore the beautiful places in SoCal! He aims to work in Finance after graduating, and he already has some experience from working for Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in the Private Equity practice at HSBC in Investment Banking and PwC in Deal Advisory.
