Department of Health and Ageing News New pricing guideThe Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has developed the Home Services Pricing and Agreements – Navigating changes the right way guidance for Home Care Package (HCP) and Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) providers. This guidance focuses on what is expected of providers in setting prices for home services and making changes to home service arrangements, including home care agreements.
Digital Transformation Tech Talk webinar seriesThe Department of Health and Aged Care’s Digital Transformation agenda is working to create a better-connected aged care network that is consolidated, sustainable, automated and modern. The next event, Digital Transformation Tech Talk, will provide an update on the policy priorities for the Aged Care reform agenda, discuss progress on the new Government Provider Management System (GPMS) and take a deeper look at the department's broader data approach. ResourcesTrauma & Aged Care Information HubWorking in aged care can be incredibly rewarding, but equally physically and emotionally challenging. Many people in aged care have experienced trauma, loss and grief at some point in their lives, impacting both staff and residents. The Trauma and Aged Care Information Hub delivers a comprehensive suite of trauma-informed resources for older people, their families and their carers, as well as tools and training for aged care workers and managers. SEMPHN Dementia pathwayThe South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network have developed Dementia Pathways to help people find dementia support services. The pathways can be used to find knowledgeable people to talk to about a diagnosis and where to find support/services for those with a dementia diagnosis in the south eastern Melbourne region. In addition to patient resources, health professionals can now also find resources and training relating to dementia. Visit the health professionals page.
