We are excited to share some fantastic updates from the committee aimed at enhancing your experience at our club. Our goal is to make your time here as enjoyable and seamless as possible, and we have some great news to share.
Firstly, we have recently purchased a brand-new TV monitor that will display court bookings. This monitor will include all 10 courts on one screen, and the display will refresh every minute to ensure you have the most up-to-date information. The monitor will be mounted inside the clubhouse. We believe this will greatly improve the convenience of checking court availability and managing your bookings.
Additionally, we have purchased an extra camera to monitor the back courts (courts 7 to 10). Currently we can only view courts 1 to 6. This will enhance security and provide better oversight of these areas. We will share more details about when the camera goes live soon.
We are also planning to freshen up the men's toilets and to replace the old celling fans in the main clubrooms. This is part of our ongoing efforts to improve the facilities and ensure a comfortable environment for all members.
Furthermore, the committee is currently negotiating a new contract with our coaches and we will update Members as this is progressed. Per Member feedback, a key objective is to make more courts available to members for both Competition and Social Tennis. We are also keen to minimise the need for home games in Competition to be played at alternate venues (e.g Bayview).
