Dear Residents, Strathfield Council is aware of the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Public Inquiry - Operation Rosny. Details of that operation can be found here. The matter is currently before ICAC and it is for ICAC to determine any recommendations or outcomes that come out of the Inquiry. I want to assure all of our community that Strathfield Council values responsible, ethical leadership. As elected representatives we are individually accountable for our behaviour whilst we are in office and the community should hold us to the highest standards of behaviour. This matter does not reflect who we are as a Council. Council’s operations are not affected by the public inquiry. The community can continue to have confidence in Council’s decision-making processes and the services our staff deliver every day. If you need to contact me or have any questions, please do so by emailing me cr.bcai@strathfield.nsw.gov.au or ring our office on 9748 9999.
