Bhutan boosts pandemic influenza readiness with training and simulations

Vanuatu strengthens pandemic preparedness with a new national Risk Communication and Community Engagement strategy 

With WHO's support, Vanuatu’s Ministry of Health has developed its first national multi-hazard Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) strategy grounded in lessons from COVID-19 and previous outbreaks. The strategy, submitted to the Minister of Health for endorsement ahead of its launch, lays vital groundwork for future influenza pandemic response.

New tools strengthen pandemic preparedness through Risk Communication Community Engagement and Infodemic Management  

With support from the PIP and the European Commission, WHO/Europe launched two digital tools to help Member States assess and strengthen Risk Communication Community Engagement and Infodemic Management (RCCE-IM) capabilities—turning COVID-19 lessons into practical, pandemic-ready plans that build trust, resilience and preparedness.
