JUNIOR COMPETITION

For all of our junior players wanting to play the WDTA Winter season on either a Saturday or Sunday morning, player registrations are now open and close Tuesday 27 February. For further information and to enter, please see HERE

SENIOR COMPETITION

Expressions of interest are now open to join a senior team competing in the following associations:-
BRTA - Bayside commences Saturday 4 May
ERT - Eastern Region commences Saturday TBC
Tennis Victoria Pennant commences Saturday 27 / Sunday 28 April
Please note match formats for 2024 pennant have changed.

Thank you to everyone who came along and enjoyed the social atmosphere and fun of 'bump' tennis organised on the night by Jake from Futures. We had over 30 members playing followed by nibbles, drinks and a raffle.

For many of the 48 players competing in 99 matches in 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U singles and doubles categories over 3 days, this was their first ever tournament. Thank you to everyone who entered and played. A big thank you to our two junior club Future Leaders, Will Roberts and Blake Munro who developed this idea as their major project from the Tennis Victoria camp they attended. Will and Blake volunteered their time planning, organising, promoting and delivering this tournament at our club. Well done and congratulations to everyone who was involved. Following on from the success of our two come and try nights, this new and free event provides an opportunity for match play and an extra hit for BLV players prior to the Victorian open championships in March. Please join us from 6.30pm - 8.00pm on courts 9 & 10. No need to RSVP. Just turn up and play.

This new event run by East Malvern Tennis Club / Futures Tennis is open for everyone to come along and have a fun night. There will be Cardio Tennis from 7.00pm - 8.00pm followed by Cocktails and Free Tennis Play. Cost will be $15 which includes 1 Hour of Cardio Tennis and a Cocktail. Our friends at Hawthorn Tennis Club have invited us to the screening of Australia's Open, Beyond the Court, at the Lido, 675 Glenferrie Rd, Hawthorn on Monday 4 March at 7.00pm. For further details and to book, please see their website

Court 1 will be closed for maintenance works on Friday 9 February. The court will need some time to settle afterwards over the weekend so no play will be possible on this court on Saturday.
