Federal Court judgment
On 6 October 2023, the Federal Court found Hitachi in breach of portable long service leave laws and imposed a pecuniary penalty of $40,000 for its failure to comply with its obligations under the scheme. Last leave submissions for 2023
Plan ahead for the Christmas break: leave applications should be submitted by Friday 15 December for processing this year. Applications received after this date may not be processed until after Wednesday 3 January.

Reminder: monthly levy return and payment
