Study Chinese abroad with a language scholarship

Dreaming of studying Chinese abroad? We're giving Gold Coast residents the chance to immerse in the culture of Taipei with a scholarship opportunity.

What you need to know: The Taipei City Government is awarding an exciting 6-month Chinese Language Scholarship to 10 recipients from their 57 partner cities around the world.

This scholarship covers monthly tuition, health insurance, accommodation and other general expenses. In addition, recipients are required to participate in 24 hours of cultural exchange activities held at Taipei schools.

Next Gen GC is offering Gold Coast artists or creatives from all artforms the opportunity to:

  • meet likeminded people 
  • connect with professional artists and creative companies
  • develop their artistic and professional practice.

Successful Gold Coasters will be matched with a mentor to work with throughout the program.
