These are a safety feature that let drivers know how fast they are traveling and remind them to slow down. The radars are located on Arthur and Barker Streets and do not issue fines. New Speed Radar Installations Keeping Strathfield's streets safe is a high priority for council, you may notice new speed radars like the one above, located at Arthur Street outside Pilgrim Park. The radars let drivers know their speed for safety purposes, with no fines issued. Join us for Anzac Day Head to Davey Square Reserve, 10am on Anzac Day 25 April, to join us for a memorial service to recognise the more than 1.5 million service men and women who have served our country in all conflicts, wars and peacekeeping operations. The National Trust’s Heritage Festival runs from 18 April until 19 May 2024. This year the theme is Connections. See the NSW program of events. Between 1993 and 2003 interviews were conducted with former councillors, mayors and senior staff of Strathfield Council. These have now been digitised. During this Heritage Festival, we invite you to connect with our local history by participating in an Amplify program to help transcribe some of these interviews for the future.
