Sensitive Santa, Andy Griffiths visits and Dinovember FunCan you believe we are on the home stretch to Christmas??? Sensitive Santa is back in Casey and bookings are now open to secure your sensory friendly visit with Santa at two of our libraries. This program books out quickly so secure your place now. The Deliver Joy donation drive is beginning in November where we will be collecting donations for local charities to help those in need. Start stockpiling nonperishable items, toiletries and unwrapped toys to Deliver Joy this Christmas. As a bonus, if you have any lost or damaged Connected Libraries items and you donate, we will waive the charges! Aside from Christmas activities approaching, we also have legendary children's author Andy Griffiths visiting, as well as Melbourne writer Violeta Bagia who will be running a Writing Workshop for adults. Check out our events page to discover the many great programs we offer for all ages. There's something for everyone. Please note that all libraries will be closed on Tuesday 5 November for the Melbourne Cup Day public holiday.

Andy Griffiths is coming to
Bunjil Place LibraryThe Land of Lost Things is the first book in a new series from Andy Griffiths. At this stage-show, Griffiths will lead audiences through The Land of Lost Things.
Part choose-your-own-adventure, part scavenger quest, part Q&A – let your imagination run wild with Andy Griffiths. Attendees will have an opportunity to get a photo with Andy and purchase a signed copy of the new book.

Sensitive Santa is coming to the library! Sensitive Santa allows children who are neuro-diverse and/or with developmental disabilities to chat with Santa and get their Santa photos in a sensory
friendly environment.
Lights are dimmed, noise is restricted and there are no crowds. Santa is trained on communicating with children who experience sensitivities.
Photos will be put on a USB and given to the parent after the session. Sessions are free but bookings are essential. 📌 Cranbourne West Library Lounge

Bunjil Place Library Temporary Closure Bunjil Place Library
will be temporarily closed between
Monday 30 December 2024 - Sunday 12 January 2025 (inclusive) for stair maintenance. The external return chutes will still be open, as well as our other library locations.
Endeavour Hills Library is our closest library to Bunjil Place. You will not be able to collect holds during this period. The Bunjil Place precinct will remain open during this period, it’s only the library that is affected. More information on this is coming in the December e-newsletter. If you have any questions, phone 1800 577 548 and chat to a friendly team member. Bunjil Place Library will reopen
on Monday 13 January 2025 at 9am.
Cranbourne West Library Lounge - Updated hoursCranbourne West Library Lounge will now be open from 10am-1pm on the third Saturday of each month.
The dates are: 16 November 2024, 21 December 2024, 18 January 2025, 15 February 2025, 15 March 2025.
Public Holiday ClosurePlease note that all of our libraries will be closed on Tuesday 5 November for the Melbourne Cup Day public holiday. Return chutes will remain open and the digital library is available 24/7.
