DEPTFORD CREEKSIDE - A NEW ERA Spanning across two boroughs, the Royal Borough of Greenwich and London Borough of Lewisham, an exciting new planning application has just been submitted for a transformative development at Deptford Bridge. Now officially released! WORLD LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE MONTH April marks World Landscape Architecture Month, a celebration of the vital role landscape architecture play in shaping sustainable, inclusive, and resilient environments. This year's theme, "Beyond Boundaries," emphasises how landscape architects transcend physical, cultural, and environmental barriers to create impactful designs. At our practice, this theme resonates deeply, as our core values lie in designing climate-positive, socially impactful designs that seamlessly integrate people and nature. To mark the occasion, we asked our Landscape Architects what inspired their journey into this field. Here’s what they shared... "Growing up in Greece, I witnessed the impact of urban fragmentation, dense construction & environmental challenges, sparking my appreciation for landscape architecture." "I was always drawn to problems that were a result of poorly designed cities- mismanagement of water, pollution, climate change, and social issues."
" With an artist for a mother and an outdoorsman and hobby geologist for a father, I grew up with a deep appreciation for the beauty and importance of the natural world." SEE YOU AT UKREiiF 2025 We are heading to UKREiiF - The UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum, taking place from May 20th–22nd, 2025 in Leeds. |
