Now as we’re approaching winter season in the northern hemisphere, especially during a confinement phase of history, Kapha dosha comes into focus as the main external factors bringing risks of internal increase of kapha, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Kapha diseases such as overweight, obesity, flu, cataract, congestive conditions, Diabetes II, etc. may begin with slow quality, lethargy and a feeling of stagnation or heaviness. Overeating of sweets and delicious foods, late eating, late sleeping and unresolved depression can become causative to later disease.
