Issue #2: Want to get more steps in this year? In this week's edition, we're bringing you walking trails across the city to explore, along with details on the new Pimpama Sports Hub Tennis Centre and our revised learn to swim program.

Enjoy a walk and discover the rich and unique environment of the Gold Coast. Choose from bushwalking tracks to explore the beauty of our natural environment, self-guided trails through historical points of interest or coastal pathways along our iconic Gold Coast foreshores.

Our city has endless opportunities to connect and immerse yourself in nature right at our doorstep. If you love to bushwalk, trail run, mountain bike, horse ride, picnic, kayak, take photos or just relax, we have some great places for you to visit.

Heritage walks & trails
Discover our cities unique and rich history with a heritage walk. Take a journey across our land whilst learning about key sites and get active at the same time.

Coastal pathways
Our coastal trails and pathways connect you to our world-renowned beaches, foreshores and waterways. With more than 50 kilometres of cycle and walkways along our foreshores, take the opportunity to see our coastal wonderland by foot or bike.

Pimpama Sports Hub Tennis centre

Pimpama Sports Hub Tennis Centre officially open

Get your racquet ready to serve up some family fun at the new Pimpama Sports Hub Tennis Centre - now open for hire seven days a week.

 

Choose from eight competition size tennis courts, four of which are fully accessible to wheelchair users, alongside a hot shots court for junior players.

 

Not keen for a hit but still want to enjoy the game? The Centre also features terraced spectator seating overlooking the courts.

 

Courts are available for bookings:

  • Day - $15 per hour (6am to 5pm)
  • Night - $24 per hour (5pm to 10pm)

Learn to swim

All-new learn to swim program

Learning to swim has never been more fun and informative at Gold Coast Aquatic Centre and Pimpama Sports Hub.

 

Our revised learn to swim program provides students with a lifetime of water safety awareness that can be applied to any aquatic environment.

 

Our AUSTSWIM qualified instructors operate all year round in heated pools with small class sizes to ensure your little swimmer gets the attention they deserve.

 

From group lessons, casual lessons, to one on one private lessons, our programs are suited to infants from six months up to adults of all ages and abilities.

A&H Summer Tai Chi

A&H Summer Tai Chi
