HLH Network of Networks

  • ISQua has launched a new journal IJQHC Communications which will publish papers in all disciplines relating to the quality and safety of health care, as well as papers related to clinical research, methodological approaches, translational research, and implementation research projects related to the quality and safety of care. The first issue was recently published and featured a number of articles relating to quality of care in the COVID-19 era including a commentary by ISQua President Jeffrey Braithwaite and another highlighting the importance of quality of care in health systems recovery from COVID-19.
     
  • THET is organizing the Annual Conference 2021, Power of Partnership: Solidarity in the shadow of COVID-19. The event will take place on 7-8th and 11-12th October 2021 and will examine the forms of solidarity across the Health Partnership community and look to the future. The conference will bring together leading voices from across the health, development, academic and government communities. Conference participants will be invited to discuss how the Health Partnership approach has evolved in response to the pandemic, conflict and aid cuts over the past year; celebrate the continuing exchanges of expertise that have characterised this year; and consider how global solidarity can help to sustain the wellbeing of health professionals at a time of unprecedented strain.
     
  • The Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage (JLN) Provider Payment Mechanism (PPM) Technical Initiative constitutes technical experts, policymakers and implementers across twenty countries, developing practical solutions and distilling best practices for PPM reform to support the achievement of universal health coverage. Season 2 of the Provider Payment Mechanisms Podcast is well underway, listen here and read more about the podcast and the PPM Technical Initiative.
     
  • International Hospital Federation is organizing the World Hospital Congress (8-11th November). The event offers a unique global forum that brings together IHF members, leaders and decision-makers of hospitals, health services, and healthcare organizations to discuss key drivers of national and international policy, management, financial trends and solutions. Through this forum multidisciplinary exchange of knowledge, expertise and experiences are facilitated, together with dialogue on best practices in leadership, management and service delivery. The Congress is a one-stop shop for the healthcare professional seeking the opportunity and environment in which to engage in a 360-degree learning and knowledge-sharing experience among peers.
