Chancellor’s Associates Scholars Program Living Archive In the summer of 2017, the Chancellor’s Associates Scholars Program piloted a project called the CASP Living Archive. For the Living Archive, CASP interviewed and recorded individual student's personal narratives. These interviews were conducted before their first Fall quarter as UC San Diego students. Maria Batres ‘21 was one of these students, and was offered the opportunity to be interviewed again with her family, before she graduated last month. Maria is from San Diego and graduated from Gompers Preparatory Academy. She is a Sixth College student and recently received her degree in Communication. Maria is the first person in her family to graduate from college and the CASP Team is incredibly proud!
