Change is in the air (and not just daylight saving ending!) and although it may not be exactly the change that you were personally hoping for, any shift in energy opens up possibilities for more change ahead. Staying open and positive to how this might unfold can be challenging but we would like to encourage you to stay present. We don't have a magic pill for this unfortunately but if you feel like discussing ideas on how to do this we are available to chat, and you might have some ideas for us! We are happy to let you know that our clinic room will be open again from today now that the government has removed the requirement for vaccine passports for close contact work. Jo will be offering QRA consultations again and Karen will now be able to see you in person for Homeopathic appointments. See our website for more info on these consultations. We wish you all a lovely Easter weekend with your families in a couple of weeks. We are open as usual on the Saturday of Easter from 9-3pm but will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday so that our hard working staff can enjoy some family time too. We will also be closed on Monday 25th for Anzac Day. Have a great April everyone! Our Vision
All of the above specials and offers are only valid while stocks last.

Active Brightening Serum Living Nature's No.1 Best Seller... certified natural Active Brightening Serum is your powerful and effective solution to minimise the appearance of uneven skin tone and pigmentation while nurturing and protecting skin. Illuminate and rejuvenate your skin with all natural ingredients for a glowing complexion. Excessive sun exposure, pregnancy hormones and acne scarring can all contribute to overproduction in melanin, resulting in dark spots, hyperpigmentation and an uneven skin tone. Many topical serums and creams formulated to target this issue contain harsh synthetic ingredients, which can disrupt your skins natural processes and lead to additional issues such as dry and sensitive skin. Crafted with world-renowned botanical actives, Living Nature has formulated a safe, gentle and effective solution with their new certified COSMOS natural Active Brightening Serum. Illuminate your skin with the power of active Atlantic Kelp and tropical Pracaxi Fruit Seed Oil, which work to lighten and minimise the appearance of pigmentation, even out skin tone and improve skin elasticity and resilience. Collagen boosting Hyaluronic Acid and Rosehip Oil work to enhance skins regeneration process, New Zealand native Harakeke Flax Gel softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and anti-oxidant rich Vitamin E fights free radical damage. Advanced Renewal Night Serum Energize and renew your skin on a cellular level with Living Nature’s new Advanced Renewal Night Serum, formulated with active natural ingredients to target the signs of ageing and promote healthy, radiant skin while you sleep. As the body's largest organ, the importance of skin cannot be overstated; it is our first line of defence from the outside world. In everyday life, air pollution, UV light, blue light, lack of sleep, stress and poor nutrition create the perfect environment for free radicals to thrive. An invisible threat to skin health, these daily skin stressors dramatically diminish cells energy levels and ability to perform optimally, accelerating the skins natural ageing process. *Based on a 2 week product trial with 17 participants. The first question we would ask you is how much water have you drunk today? Then the check list goes from there to ascertain cause and what might be the best treatment. Some of the things on the checklist might include:
Some answers are simple, like drinking water with some electrolytes added, getting yourself into a healthy regular sleep habit, reducing your time on screen devices or going for a walk in the fresh air/ensuring adequate ventilation in the room. Other issues may require a bit more intervention and this is where diet, nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle choices can make a huge difference. There may even be more than one cause contributing to your headache. As an example: you missed your morning coffee, skipped lunch due to a stressful pressing deadline and just got your period = caffeine withdrawal/low blood sugar/excessive stress /low oestrogen. You can reduce stress and tension by regularly including exercise, yoga, meditation/ prayer, massage or deep breathing into your lifestyle. Try a relaxing massage or bath using essential oils or epsom salts and ensuring you are taking adequate magnesium is important for muscle relaxation (as a supplement or topical application). Taking a supplement of chromium can help balance blood sugar levels as can eating 5-6 small meals a day. If your headache has a hormonal basis, you may benefit from using herbs to help balance your hormone levels which we can guide you on. If you suffer from migraine, we have Migrasticks available which contain essential oils to rub on the temples. Or you could choose medicinal grade essential oils of lavender or peppermint (not in pregnancy) as a steam inhalation or massaged into the skin. Feverfew is a great herb that has been traditionally used to treat headaches and prevent and treat migraines and may be ideal for you. Other products available in store include Naturopharm HeadMed homeopathic spray, Absolute Essential Headease, Malcolm Harker Sinus (for sinus headache), Cellfood, Elite electrolyte drops and zen magnesium balm. Come and chat with us in store to help you find the remedies that may be best suited to you.
