Pre-Planning with Arrington

Pre-Planning Testimonial - Kathy Snow

"So when my mother passed, we did call Arrington, they came and everything was taken care of just as we had planned. We were so pleased with the service we received from Arrington and we loved working with them."

A Message from Bob Arrington

We are very thankful you have allowed us to serve families in our community in a time of heartache and grief for 30 years. We have been blessed by thousands of families who have allowed and trusted us to walk with them through some of their darkest hours. Thank you for your confidence.

“The Arrington Perspective.” Through this newsletter we are beginning to provide information regarding subjects related to funeral service, including etiquette, tips, end-of-life care, funeral service options, grief journeys and much more. It will be a publication that we will provide as topics arise. We would encourage you to let us know what subjects you would be interested in discussing.

Arrington Funeral Directors & Crematory was founded on the principle of providing more service than expected. A funeral home that, because of its independence, could respond to the individual needs of the families it served. And that is precisely how we plan to continue to grow by offering a level of service beyond what is expected and a wide range of options for families, which is second to none.

Understanding Cremation: Key Facts & Insights

  • As the only crematory in Jackson and on our premises, your loved one never leaves our care.

  • Most families choose to have a visitation and service either before or after the cremation process takes place.

  • If the family wants to have a public visitation with their loved one present, a rental casket is available.

  • If several family members want to keep a portion of their loved one’s cremated remains, there are “keepsake” urns available.

  • We offer a wide variety of fingerprint and cremation jewelry as a tangible reminder of your loved one and a way to keep them near.
