Get the most out of your library in 2025!There is so much to be excited about at the library this month. Our school holiday programs have wrapped up and they were a huge success. You can view some images on our socials here. Our regular programs will be starting from Monday 3 February. This includes our Early Years, after school and teen programs. Click here to see all we have on offer. In addition to our children and youth programs, we also have some wonderful adult and digital literacy programs planned – there truly is something for everyone. Have you joined our Seed Library? You could be collecting 3 different types of seeds each season to take home and grow. All for free! We often have gardening related programs on at the library for both kids and adults, such as our Plant and Produce Swap
which is discussed below. Keep an eye on the events page of our website to take advantage of our gardening programs.

We are so grateful for the Casey community we serve – thank you! Our library members have generously donated more than $5,000 worth of gifts and non-perishable food items for our annual ‘Deliver Joy’ campaign in the lead up to Christmas in 2024. We wanted to get the community involved and directly support local charities who are doing amazing work throughout the year by providing
meals, support and groceries to those who are struggling financially and facing hard times in the City of Casey. Judy, a volunteer at the Andrews Centre a charity supported by the Deliver Joy campaign said, “It has been a year like no other for people struggling to just put food on the table... your support, as we try to provide for the most disadvantaged, is greatly appreciated.”
